My Sistine Chapel

I recreated this very large, very beautiful antique footstool cover

for a customer of Threads Needlepoint.

The original (which was fragile with many areas completely worn through)

was a family heirloom and belonged to the customer's grandmother.

The wool has faded, so I matched colors from the reverse side.

I loved working on this piece and was sad to send it off!
